"Wisconsin’s anti-trafficking efforts are falling behind regionally, to the detriment of our state and our children. With nearly all of our Midwestern neighbors — Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Nebraska — adopting strong anti-trafficking legislation, Wisconsin’s lack of action positions it as a “free zone” for pimps to more easily traffic children. Enacting Safe Harbor legislation is a good first step toward protecting our children"
