Thailand epicentre of trafficking business

Human trafficking has become one of the major human rights challenges of the past decades - creating a vast shadow economy that generates about US$10 billion a year.

And its epicentre is in Thailand - a source, destination and transit point for those sold into sexual slavery and forced labour. Last month it led the US to put Thailand on its human trafficking watchlist, saying it wasn't doing enough to combat the problem.
