A hard-hitting drama about the 21st century's form of modern-day slavery, human trafficking, is at the cornerHOUSE this weekend.
Through drama and dance, Unseen Traffik tells the story of Lakshmi, a Nepalese girl who goes to India dreaming of money but finds a living nightmare instead.
"Many would consider slavery to be a thing of the past," says director Susanne Midgley.
"But Unseen Traffik shows human slavery is alive and kicking, just down the road from you.
"It is an unforgettable account of sexual slavery as it exists today.
"The performance will end with a charity auction empowering the audience to set in motion change for vulnerable young people like Lakshmi the world over."
There will also be a question and answer session after the show as well as an exhibition in the foyer.
Not suitable for anyone under 15.
