Medical staff in Ohio will train to spot sex trafficking | The Columbus Dispatch

Alan Johnson:

"Medical personnel, who are often the frontline troops in uncovering sex trafficking of minors, will become part of a state network battling the sex-for-sale business."

"Over the next two years, $523,200 will be allocated to child-advocacy centers across Ohio, including Nationwide Children’s Hospital, to train multidisciplinary teams in how to recognize, treat and refer trafficking victims. The money comes from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and will be administered through the Ohio Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers."
