Polaris Student Toolkit: Raising Awareness About Human Trafficking

Colleagues, below is an email from Bradley Myles, CEO, Polaris Project, to me that I am sharing.

Today, we’re releasing a toolkit to help students spread awareness of human trafficking on their campuses. Download our Student Toolkit to get started.

Students can have a profound impact on how their communities work to end human trafficking.
When Wyoming outlawed human trafficking in January, University of Wyoming undergraduate Daniel DeCecco was at the forefront of the movement. He circulated petitions, rallied his campus, and promoted the issue to local media.
Inside our Student Toolkit you’ll find tips including10 Ways to Raise Awareness of Human Trafficking and the HotlineCommon Myths & Misconceptions, and Promoting Awareness of Human Trafficking Using Social Media. We also share the best places to post information about the National Human Trafficking Resource Center hotline.
There are hundreds of thousands of people trapped in modern slavery in the United States and we need everyone to work together to take a stand. Pleasedownload our Student Toolkit, or share it with a student in your life.
Thank you for your support,
Bradley Myles
