In the past months, Hagar in Vietnam have been receiving more cases of young women who were trafficked and abused. There is a growing need to increase Hagar's quality services for trafficking survivors in Vietnam. With limited resources, Hagar strives to meet the needs of the clients.

Hagar Vietnam began its operation in 2009 and is based in Hanoi. It focuses mainly on women who are victims of human trafficking, domestic violence and abuse. However, over the past years a lot of the clients who are coming to Hagar's care have gotten younger and younger. There is a pressing need for Hagar to expand its services and serve more clients in Vietnam.

Agnes Lam, Hagar Vietnam's Country Representative, is a Vietnamese-American who left Vietnam with her family as refugees after the war. A church in United States took care of her and her family for more than 10 years. The long term holistic support that she received made an impact in her life. This is what inspires her to work for Hagar. She came back to Vietnam and became Hagar's country leader. In this video, she talks about the lack of services for vulnerable women and children in Vietnam, and how Hagar is meeting the needs of these clients.
