Jade Software's crime-fighting division, Wynyard Group, has donated software to an organisation probing human trafficking.
South East Asia Investigations into Social and Humanitarian Activities (Sisha) investigates human trafficking and exploitation in Cambodia.
Wynyard chief executive Craig Richardson said as Sisha was a non- profit organisation, it seemed the right thing to do.
"Hopefully it helps them in their endeavours to do things more efficiently and manage cases better," he said.
Wynyard's investigations software platform would make it easier for Sisha to pick up links between present and past cases, like common events, people, or places.
The secure platform enables multiple investigators to work on a case while still safeguarding confidential victim and witness information.
Sisha, a registered Australian not-for-profit organisation, has trained 450 frontline Cambodia police officers and worked on 270 cases, helping 600 victims, 150 of whom were children.
Wynyard's investigations software is now used by nearly 40 law enforcement agencies in Southeast Asia.
