Increase in human trafficking from India to Caribbean:IOM | United Nations Radio

Indian nationals, both men and women, are being trafficked to Jamaica and other islands in the Caribbean.

They are being told, says Chissey Mueller of the International Organization for Migration, that lucrative jobs await them, but when they are arrive, they are forced into prostitution or to work in exploitative conditions.

Gerry Adams asked Ms. Mueller who was behind the trafficking.
