Bishop Patrick Lynch of Southwark is chair of the migration department at the Catholic bishops conference in England and Wales. He and Cecilia Taylor-Camara, the bishops’ senior advisor on refugee and migration policy, were in the Vatican this week accompanying two officials from the Metropolitan police department for talks on combating human trafficking.
